From the region! For the region!
The Zschopau and its sometimes deeply incised valley run through the landscape of several natural areas. It rises in the central Erzgebirge on the northern slope of the Fichtelberg at an altitude of 1,070 m and finally the river flows into the Freiberg Mulde near the village of Schweta west of Döbeln. The river has always been an important lifeline for the development of the region and also a guide for modern settlements. The Zschopautaler reflects the love for our homeland and gives us the opportunity to give every visitor of our Zschopautal a worthy reason to come back.
