Der Elbegeist
is a blend of selected berries, such as strawberries, blueberries and currants. It is coated with mild alcohol and gently distilled. The schnapps matures for three months in a 15l beechwood barrel and is stored on our passenger steamer “Pirna”.
Elbegeist – a fruity delight
We have been producing our Elbegeist since 2016. Our berry brandy is a creation of various berries, such as strawberries, blueberries and currants, which are coated with mild alcohol and gently distilled.
The subsequent barrel ageing of min. 20 weeks in the oak wood on the passenger steamer Pirna of the Sächsischen Dampfschifffahrt delivers a beautiful colour reminiscent of the rays of the summer sun and it gives it a soft touch. Bei Zimmertemperatur getrunken, entfaltet er sein volles Aroma.
